PvP Ranks

Postby Mordain » Thu Aug 10, 2006 11:33 am

In my guild there are a number of people who do not do any PvP, thus do not have a rank. Is there a way to make it so that if they have no rank, instead of saying "None" on the signature, it will say nothing, without turning PvP ranks off? It just seems to me that having it there just takes up space.

This should be detecting their rank number and not getting this value

Try to have them re-scan their character and re-upload

I though what I said sounded confusing lol. Let me clarify. I have a user that does not do PvP, thus he does not have a rank. On his sig, it says "None". I was wondering if there is a way to make it say nothing at all. No pics or anything.

That user needs to save their character profile again and upload it. My non-PVP characters do not have a rank and it's just blank.

Sorry, guess I wasn't clear on what I said
mrmuskrat is right, for some reason the numeric rank isn't matching the text rank

SigGen detects the numeric rank
If it's 0 it won't display a pvp rank
If it's < 0, it will display whatever the text rank is

mrmuskrat -
Is that SigGen you are using with images from rpgoutfitter's site?

zanix,
Yes, I am using siggen to create them. I'm using the siggen images for everything but the template and the race faces. (I did have to stretch the background images a bit due to the larger size of my template.)

The race images are form the WoW fan kit (resized). The custom race faces (my two chars and my wife's one were created by taking a screenshot using rpgo's CharacterPaperdoll addon and then manually grabbing the face image.

The template started out as my wife's sig image from rpgoutfitter's. I stripped as much as I could and started painting over the parts I didn't like. I then added the circle (it was part of a PSD file in the WoW fan kit). I'm not quite happy with the template but it's off to a nice start. I just haven't had enough time to flesh it out fully.

It's pretty good looking

The more I look at it, the more I realize that it's designed like rpgo's site, but the images are not the same, similar, but not the same
