Exporting utility to only exporting some stuff..

Postby hobart » Fri Aug 11, 2006 4:33 pm

I wonder if there have been made a utility that can let each guildmember descide which info to be exported from wow to the roster. So that they can remove the gold, bags or bank etc. before it gets to the roster.

I know that the person administrating the roster can remove this by selecting it in the options menu. But what I need is a utility that removes it so that the admin can't make it appear by only enabling it. Do you understand?

They could manually edit their CP.lua, and I believe you can configure CP to not update some data in its config file. There is no user settings for roster since there is no user auth.

In a nutshell - if you have users that are that paranoid that they don't want to even let their data get extracted and uploaded because they don't trust that the admin won't keep it hidden then you've got bigger problems.

As for the actual question - no, not possible without manually hacking up the CP.lua file.
