Uniadmin and Database

Postby Covert » Wed Aug 23, 2006 12:47 pm

Ok so i am using godaddy for my webhosting and i created the database it said for Uniadmin in Step 1(Now should this be it own database or the one for wowroster? Cause right now i created a new one)

Now where i get stuck is on step 2.

2. Create the tables and populate with default settings by running \sql\uniadmin.sql against the database created in Step 1

How can i run it against the database that i made with godaddy? ANyone have experience with this?

Thank You in Advance

Uniadmin and Database

1. Shouldn't matter one way or the other.

2. Log in and navigate to your Hosting Manager. Under databases should be an icon for MySQL, click it. On the MySQL page you will see a list of all databases that you have created. Click Open Manager for the database you are using for UniAdmin and log in. Over to the left you will see some text links with 4 icons above them. Click the third icon (a box with the text SQL in it) and it will bring up the query window. Go to the middle tab (called Import files). It will allow you to browse to an SQL file to upload and run.
