Hi,

i tryt a few times to get EventCalendar installed but no luck. i have no clue from php and so i cant find the reason for the error and not creat the Tables.

It would be nice if you let us know how to get it working, its a realy important mod i think and ive seen it working on your page. ive read a few posts now about it but nothing about what to change, only that all things are done in wowrosterdf to run it but how to create the tables

I understand the rules against releasing the 1.7.3 before the standalone is released, that stands to reason.

But is there a version of 1.7.2, working or beta we could try out? I'd really like to know if the effort I'm putting in to redesgning my site will be worth it. The upgrade from PHP nuke failed miserably for me, and now I'm stuck either finding a new CMS, or rebuilding my database from backups, which I can certainly do.

Just curious is all.

what makes you think you should have it when the rest of people must wait?

They will release as soon as they feel it's ready...

The DF version has an advantage to the other CMS ports in that it is done by a dev team member. Currently the DF port is being updated in parallel with the normal version. There is no 1.7.2 version, and the licensing prevents releasing 1.7.3 to anyone at all before the normal 1.7.3 is publicly available.

Dev's sites are a special case, we've got permission to use alphas in production environments so we can spot bugs easier.

I completely understand why ports should never be released before the stand alone, and I'm aware there's some great folks working on this. It's very encouraging.

Being new to Dragonfly, I wasn't sure whether or not there had been a release of RosterDF since TBC released that was compatible with all the changes. That clarifies it for me.

And from the perspective of someone anxiously awaiting this release, I would like to thank the entire dev team. It's pretty cool you guys put this much effort into a product like this, and my past experiences with it have been very positive. It's a lot of excellent code for a free product.
