SMF Bridge in testing

Postby Kaos » Wed Apr 25, 2007 1:05 am

What happened with this bridge in the end? I am just looking for a bridge that if a person has a valid account in an SMF install and in a specific group it allows them access to view the contents of the roster.

Anything else included is a bonus :)

Only thing is that it is by no means integrated, he just loads the Roster in an Iframe in TP. Users in SMF are not linked to char's in the roster, neither are any of the permissions and/or passwords used in Roster or SMF/TP.

I don't think I understand. Other than importing and making a userlist from the Roster information, what purpose would this serve? There aren't any options for any users other than the admin in the roster.

SMF Bridge in testing

I'm working on modifying this to work with roster 1.7.3 and SMF 1.1.4 with TP v0.9.8

/* Edit */

Ok, I need to adjust a few more things, i'm doing a side by side comparison of the files, I shall keep you posted of my progress.

/* Edit */

Ok, after much trial and error i have a working version. it still produces errors when i update, but it does seem to fill out the fields correctly. And I don't see errors or missing data elsewhere.

SMF Bridge in testing

The install process for roster 2 is seemingly different and it tries to call a file that isn't there. Are there plans to update this for version 2?

I'll have a look at it. I got out of wow for a while and wasn't keeping up on it. I'll see if i can make a bridge for 2.0, but i'm on a very stiff schedule, so i make no promises.
