I am having this problem too, it seems to post 1 hour ahead of the correct time. I am assuming it is because my webhosts are based in Germany and I am in the UK.

But after the hour I can post again. I have not tried making 2 applications after another to see if that would be a problem.

DF Guild Application w/ Recruitment Block

Postby Razac » Tue Jun 12, 2007 8:24 pm

Sorry guys was away for a bit there.

The blocks file I will be making Language rdy today.. I forgot that file b4... :(

I will look into the Time stamping.. It currently just generates the date when confirmed.. This being the Servers time. I will look into grabbing the time-zone of poster..

Right I forgot the the forums has a time set to it that prevents posting in fast intervals.. I will have to think on this one.. Im sure the annonymous account doesnt have that restriction but this would require the posting of annonymous users to be activated by the site admin.

Perhaps shoot me a PM with all the details I will look into why your DB isnt accepting it...

Deeo I will translate my language file and see if I can duplicate the problem

gryantol when the Time is corrected you should be able to post b4 the hour. :)

ah, k...

Problem with translation depends on the database. after updating the status in the database into german, the translation works.

hope that helps you.

last thing is the recruitment status itself. if i dont use "Open" for the Status (translation would be "offen"). the recruitment status is always "Closed".
"Select an Age Group" is also not translateble.

Yeah I had thought of that on the way home.. to change the installer to use the language file to and set it that way..

But I changed the value of Low in my englsih file to wowee and it didnt generate an error.

Deeo were you having issues with the time-zone posting?

because nothing was set to Low, wasnt it?

if everythin is set to "closed" i could change "high", "medium" and "low" with no issues.

Hmm. you have a cms prefix for _bbgroups and nuke prefix's for the rest.

there is something wrong with the block, it is attempting to pull from a nuke prefix..

Ok, with some help from Razac we managed to get the Application to install and is now happily displayed on the web page, I WAS getting the error that was mentioned above and did the replace NUKE_ fix and that error went away.

So... next issue :=)

I was attempting to change recruitment setting, wanted to set what spaces were open/closed and the raid times. In the setting screen is another error:

Warning line : mysql_result() [function.mysql-result]: altalowed not found in MySQL result index 34

However, I figured that doesn't matter as I don't care so much about alts. But, on update of the application settings nothing happened, the data returned on updtae didn't have the changes made and there was no effective change to the display. No error seems to have show up with this lack of update.
