DF Guild Application w/ Recruitment Block

hey razac

ive installed the Form now on an old 9.0.6.1 DF version.

-->The "Recruitment Settings" Page is displayed, but has two "A Database Error occured" issues at the bottom. but you can change the settings.

-->Block is working fine.

--> The Application Site is not displayed, only the "Database Error occured" Issue. Also the "Show Applications" - Page.

left a value blank when it shouldnt be

Yeah I forgot to change that in the readme.txt in there the original author had 7.6 or somehting .

I have only tested this on a 9.1.2.1 version of DF.

does it ever work on 9.0.6.1 version?

--> with the new Version Recruitment Settings Update doesnt work anymore...

I can't think of anything that would make this module not work in 9.0.6.1, but is there any reason why you're not upgrading? If this module does not work with the older versions your options are to look for where the compatibility issue is and fix it, or upgrade.

I am getting the followng errors on the bottom of my recruitment settings page

Warning line : mysql_result() [function.mysql-result]: server not found in MySQL result index 37

and if i refresh the page

Warning line : mysql_result() [function.mysql-result]: server not found in MySQL result index 35

yeah, Dragonfly isnt upgradeble. Tried it so many times, and in the german community they also approve not to update.

i also use a new, clear installation, (with that, the new Version has the update Problems) --> AH! found that i have to run the update -.-. how do i run a update on a module??

I have upgraded many versions of DF and never had any issues. The only difference between the german and english version are the language files so I don't see how you could be having issues.

Login as Admin
Go to Modules
Click the Edit link on the module you wish to upgrade
Click on Upgrade

in the moules admin select edit for Application near the bottom of the info shoul dbe an update link.

I dont get why it would fail on 35 and 37 but process 34 and 36

Here is what is on those lines

34 $status=mysql_result($result,$i,"status");
35 $druid=mysql_result($result,$i,"druid");
36 $hunter=mysql_result($result,$i,"hunter");
37 $mage=mysql_result($result,$i,"mage");

Robo you havnt upgraded it yet have you??

Im looking at your Balck Templars and im not seeing an upgrade.

Anyway you can so I can work out anymor eissues.

I find it odd. this works Flawlessly on my machine.

I have had a look at the index so not sure why it is erroring out I have noticed though that the new boxes are not there

I must set my signature to the dynamic server stats and add my site in homepage

hm i had huge problems with the Blocks system and a lot more.

I Know that this doesnt depend on the language but on the template (i think we had that diskussion somewhere before oO?)

so you would recommend me to upgrade the site?

Thanks for help, didnt found the upgrade option before but now it runned. BUT
--> Problem still exists, I cant update the Recruitment Settings.

i went for the latest version, my thoughts was they have probably fixed some of the bugs from 9.0.6.1

but it is the old saying fix one bug but open up 5 more

what new boxes???

You have roster installed you wont see any new input areas in Recruitment settings.. they will only appear if Roster is not found..
